• The La Grange varsity baseball team lost all three games at their home tournament last week in close decisions.

The Leps lost to Sealy on Thursday 6-3 despite a threehit day from Max Dixon and two hits from Tristan Ulrich.

Friday the Leps lost 4-2 to New Waverly despite a threehit game from Holdyn Cooper.

Friday night the Leps lost to Madisonville 5-4. Dalton Janacek had two hits in that game and Ty Stark pitched 4.2 innings of hitless relief.

The Leps are now 4-5 overall and added a game Monday at 6:30 p.m. at home against Goliad, varsity only.

• The Fayetteville baseball (1-1) team lost to East Bernard Friday 3-1. Chance Konvicka had the Lions’ only hit and only RBI.

• The Round Top-Carmine baseball team lost to Granger Friday 16-4. Miles Neese had two hits and an RBI for the Cubs (1-4).

• The Schulenburg baseball team (2-7) won two at the Flatonia tournament last week, beating Tidehaven 5-2 and Port Aransas 5-2. Against Tidehaven, Aaron Janecek had three hits and Owen Brenek pitched a complete game.
