The La Grange Cross Country team has been doing some big things lately.

The Leps traveled to Tomball to compete in the Klein ISD Invitational on Friday Sept. 13 The girls competed in the small school/JV division and placed 2nd out of 22 teams Individual places:

• The Schulenburg CC team competed at Moulton on Saturday. The Horns were led by Alton Herzik who finished

3rd in the A AA division with a time of 18:46. Jamison Bennett finished 28th with a time of 22:32. Brayan Netro was next at 29th followed by Edgar Mandujano, Vontrell H Walton, and Cody Lewis.

• The Schulenburg Lady Horns Cross Country team raced to a Co-championship at the Moulton Bobcats Cross Country Meet last week as they tied Shiner St. Paul for top honors with 47 pts. Leading the way as usual for the Lady Horns was Sr. Ruby Rodriguez as she finished in 3rd place with her best time of the year at 12:44 over the tough two mile course. Yasmin Cortez notched her best time of the year as she ran a 14:03 for 6th place overall and was followed by Michaela Kollmann - 10th at 14:08: Silvia Cortez - 11th at

14:14: - Ana Marie Granados

- 17th at 14:53: Jailyn Guerrero - 23rd at 15:00 and Emily Veloz - 37th at 16:21 rounded out the Lady Horn team totals.
