Bulldogs Beat Nixon-Smiley at Home Tourney

The Flatonia boys baseball team beat Nixon-Smiley but lost to St. Paul and Port Aransas at their home baseball tournament, the Mike Schulze Memorial Classic, last week.

The Bulldogs lost to St. Paul Thursday 7-2. Max Richter and Caysen Perez had two hits each for the Bulldogs and Kullen Kutac doubled and Owen Kosler tripled.

Also on Thursday Flatonia beat Nixon-Smiley 8-7. Richter, Diego Ramirez and Wesley Jarmon combined on the pitching effort for Flatonia. Caysen Perez hit two doubles as part of a three-hit game. Ramirez and Kutac each had two hits.

Friday the Bulldogs lost to Port Aransas 11-0 as Marlins pitcher Dylan Scaff no-hit the Bulldogs.
