The Flatonia football team fell to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in district with a 52-21 loss to Bloomington Friday.
Flatonia Beck’s Zimmerman threw for 107 yards and two touchdowns to Keegan Green and Kade Giese, and Caysen Perez ran for a touchdown but it was not enough to overcome Bloomington’s powerful rushing attack.
Bloomington ran for 364 yards on Friday’s game.
The Bobcats improved to 3-3 overall and 2-0 in district with the win.
Kevin Ramirez led Flatonia in tackles Friday with 14 and Lukas Gutierrez had 12. Flatonia returns to action Friday at Danbury.
