Leps Beat Lexington

The La Grange baseball team improved to 7-5 overall with a 13-0 victory at Lexington Tuesday. Tristan Ulrich pitched a complete game two-hitter with 10 strikeouts. Jonah Ehler homered and Eli Gillum had two hits and scored three runs. The Leps begin district play next Friday at home against Bellville.

RTC Splits Two

The Round Top-Carmine baseball team split a doubleheader with Somerville Tuesday, winning 4-3 and losing 16-4. In that 4-3 win Will Neese pitched six innings of two-hit ball, striking out nine and he also hit two doubles. Carter Marburger and Connor Fricke each had two hits in the win.

Flatonia Wins

The Flatonia Bulldogs baseball team improved to 4-4 this season with a 12-1 win over Bloomington Tuesday. Max Richter struck out 11 in six innings of work. Caysen Perez, Zayden Perez and Julian Saucedo each had two hits.

Horns Stay Hot

The Schulenburg baseball team beat Ganado 3-2 Tuesday. Owen Brenek and Connor Lichnovsky combined on the pitching effort. Reid Janda, Jayse Janda and Emerson Harvey drove in the three runs for the Shorthorns (which are now 12-3 this season).

Lady Horns Fall

The Lady Horns lost to Ganado 15-0 Tuesday to fall to 4-7 overall and 0-2 in district.
