The La Grange baseball team lost to Navasota 2-0 Friday at home as the Leps fell to 11-10 overall and 3-5 in district play.

A pair of Navasota pitchers limited the Leps to just five hits Friday, all singles – one each by Dalton Janacek, Tristin Ulrich, Eli Gillum, Jonah Ehler and Baylee Abbey. Ehler pitched a complete game for the Leps, allowing just four hits and one earned run. La Grange closes out the regular season this week, hosting Smithville Tuesday at 7 p.m. and then playing at Smithville Friday at 7 p.m.

The Flatonia baseball team lost to Ganado Friday 12-5 as the Bulldogs fell to 7-13 overall. Max Richter had two hits for the Bulldogs, and Diego Ramirez hit a double.

RTC Sweeps Snook

The Round Top-Carmine baseball team swept a doubleheader at Snook Wednesday 3-1 and 13-1. The Cubs are now 5-8 overall. In the 3-1 victory Will Neese pitched a complete game three-hitter with 11 strikeouts. Facundo Cerda had two hits, Kash Wessels hit a double and Miles Neese drove in two. In the 13-1 win, Miles Neese pitched 5.2 innings, striking out nine. Will Neese hit a triple and drove in five runs.

Horns Roll

The Schulenburg baseball team improved to 22-4 overall with a 22-1 win over Louise Friday. Connor Lichnovksy and Owen Brenek combined to strike out 10 Louise hitters. Emerson Harvey homered and drove in five runs. Lichnovsky drove in four runs and Jayse Janda drove in three.
