Baseball Playoffs

The La Grange baseball team (12-13) will face Houston Furr (14-1) in a one-game bidistrict playoff series, set for Thursday, May 2 at 5:30 p.m. in Montgomery. The winner of this series advances to face the Georgetown Gateway/Salado winner in the second round of the 4A playoffs.

The Flatonia baseball team will face Stockdale in a best-ofthree bidistrict baseball series in Hallettsville. Game 1 is Thursday May 2 at 7 p.m. Game 2 is Friday at 7 p.m. and if necessary, Game 3 would be Saturday at 1 p.m. back in Hallettsville The Schulenburg baseball team will face Brackett on a bestof- three series at Southwest Legacy High School in San Antonio. There is a doubleheader Friday at 4:30 p.m. and if necessary a Game 3 would be Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Fayetteville baseball team will play High Island in a bestof- three bidistrict series at Tomball Memorial. A doubleheader is set for Friday, May 3 starting at 4 p.m. If needed the series would continue Monday, details to be determined.

Richards beat Round Top-Carmine 5-1 in a playoff tiebreaker Monday to ends the Cubs season.
