Ashtyn Smith Homers as Lady Leps Beat Bellville 5-4 in Softball

In their third consecutive one-run game in district, the La Grange softball team beat Bellville on the road Friday 5-4. Ashtyn Smith homered and Iylah King, Landri Hernandez and Madi Adams all had two hits each.

Brooke Ulrich pitched a complete game seven-hitter with seven strikeouts.

The Lady Leps (now 2-1 in district play) host Bellville Tuesday at 6 p.m.
