All Five Fayette Co. Girls Hoops Teams Begin Playoffs This Week

The girls high school basketball playoffs begin this week and lots of local teams are involved.

The Lady Leps play Sealy Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Columbus in the first round of the 4A Division 2 Playoffs. The winner players the Lorena/Salado victor.

In Class 2A, the district champ Flatonia girls play Monday at 6:30 p.m. in Caldwell against Rosebud-Lott. The Schulenburg girls play Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Giddings against Thorndale.

In 1A the Round Top-Carmine girls play Monday at 6:30 p.m. in Flatonia against Runge. The Fayetteville girls play Tuesday vs. Moulton in Caldwell.
