Weimar United Church Donates to ARTS

Weimar United Church (WUC) recently donated money collected from October’s Sunday church services to Arts for Rural Texas (ARTS). Monies donated will be allocated to the Art After School (AAS) programs at Weimar Elementary School (WES) and St. Michael Catholic School (SMCS).

The mission of the nonprofit organization is to enrich lives through art and art education with an emphasis on providing opportunities for children.

Art After School is a free program that introduces children to various forms of art, providing art education to children grades 1st- 8th in 10 different locations.
