Weimar Library Offering Hunter Education Course
If you hunt in Texas, you may be required to obtain an official hunter education certificate. Any person born after Sept. 1, 1971 requires this certification card to hunt in Texas. Friends of the Weimar Public Library will offer a Hunter Safety Certification class on Friday, July 14, at the Weimar Junior High cafetorium, 101 North West Street, Weimar.

Hunters aged 9 and up can obtain their hunter safety certification card after completion of the official online or classroom course through a certified instructor. The course will require a fee of $15 per person payable at the door by cash or check made out to Lee Mueller.
The class will begin at 9 a.m. with sign in at 8:45 a.m. Friends of the Weimar Public Library will furnish lunch for the attendees. To register, participants will be required to set up an account with a password. The password will be needed in order to print your certificate at the completion of the class.
