Weber Celebrates 99th Birthday, Four Generations

Fred Weber celebrated his 99th birthday on June 5. Fred grew up on the Weber family farm that straddled the Fayette and Austin County lines. He currently resides in Austin. He is still independent, living alone since his wife of 63 years, Vernell, passed in 2009. He still drives, prepares his meals, attends church, and faithfully watches Astros baseball. In the photo, there are four generations of his family. Fred is sitting in the middle, holding his newest great-granddaughter, Stella. His two great grandsons, Kannon and Jett, are kneel on each side of him. The back row includes his son, Steve, his granddaughter Caitlyn, granddaughter Dana who is holding his other great-granddaughter Susan, and granddaughter Alisha. The Lord has blessed his life with a wonderful family.
