Votaw Wins First in Dance Competition

Kami Votaw, daughter of Jeff Votaw and wife Tina Votaw of Flatonia and mother Jennifer (Spoelstra) Landfried and her husband James Landfried of Axtell, won first place for her hip-hop dance and her contemporary dance and second over all over the weekend at the state dance competition in Lubbock. She is now qualified to go to nationals once again. Her group also won first place for both of there group dances. First and second overall, Kami will be going to Colombia College in Missouri this fall on a full four-year scholarship for dance.
