VFW Auxiliary Elects Officers, Loyalty Day Celebrated

The installation of newly elected officers for the Fayette Memorial VFW Auxiliary to Post No. 5254 in La Grange took place at the monthly meeting held May 21. The term of office will be from July 2024 through June 2025 for the following officers from left: Conductress and Secretary Elizabeth Kallus, Two-Year Trustee Phyllis Chavarria, Three-Year Trustee Peggy Sulik, Guard Lorine Bertsch, Chaplain and One-Year Trustee Mary Gray, Treasurer Anna Boyd, Junior Vice President Becky Leer, Senior Vice-President Twila Thurman, and President Marilyn Kothmann. At the Tuesday, May 21 meeting of Fayette Memorial VFW Post No. 5254 and Auxiliary in La Grange, during their joint gathering a presentation about Loyalty Day was given by VFW Post Commander Richard Gray, VFW Auxiliary President Kothmann and Secretary Elizabeth Kallus.
