Texas Transportation Commission Awards Contracts Here

The Texas Transportation Commission awarded maintenance and improvement projects in Texas Department of Transportation’s Yoakum District for two projects in Fayette County at its June 29 meeting in Austin.

Trevway Inc., of Katy was awarded a $1,340,282.24 contract for a bridge replacement project on FM 154 over a tributary of Pin Oak Creek near Muldoon.

3LW Civil LLC, out of Mason was awarded a $286,575.50 contract to construct pedestrian infrastructures from Travis Street and Main Street to Colorado Street and Jefferson Street in La Grange.

As these projects begin, motorists are urged to stay alert and reduce speed near and through work zones, obey all traffic control and be aware of workers and moving equipment throughout all work zones. Exact construction start dates on these projects and related traffic detours have not yet been determined.
