Texas Extension Education Association Clubs believe in strong families and education as a lifelong process. These clubs have been a vital part of the county’s volunteer base since 1934 and have a tradition of volunteer development opportunities. This past year the clubs’volunteer hours totaled 347.5 hours, which translated to $11,560.00 value of time. An annual scholarship was awarded to a county youth through the Nettie Mae Freudenburg Scholarship, and monetary support was provided to Fayette County 4-H and Deputy Santa. Donations also supported the County Child Welfare Board and CASA.
