On April 18, cookoff teams from all over Texas came to compete in the 4th Annual Texas Burger Bash. As a first-time competitor, Jay Dee’z Sports Grill took home the Grand Champion prize, along with $250 cash, a Blackstone grill, and a Championship ring. Dale Dombrowski clinched the People’s Choice award (voted on by the general public) and also took home $250 cash. The event also featured an international cooking team from Japan that filmed the experience as part of their traveling cooking show. With record participation from the public and overwhelming engagement from local sponsors, the event raised over $4,400 for local ministries.

“The Texas Burger Bash Board of Directors would like to thank everyone who contributed to the event’s success: vendors, volunteers, and especially the donors and cook teams who make this event possible. If you were one of the lucky patrons who attended this year, we invite you to help us spread the word as we set our sights on making the 5th Annual Texas Burger Bash even more impactful in 2027,” said Burger Bash director Tim Scarborough.
