Summer Arts Camps Enrollment Open
Arts for Rural Texas is currently enrolling students in its popular Summer Arts Camps. This year’s camps will be held in Fayetteville, Schulenburg, and La Grange. Campers in first through twelfth grades are invited to participate in these fun-filled camps. Students will engage in activities including sculpture, painting, drama, quilting, felting, photography, movie making and more.
Not only are the camps fun, but the days are filled with great learning experiences in:
• language – the ability to recognize and translate symbols, • math – the ability to develop structure and simple analysis,
• science – research, creative thinking and exploration,
• teamwork, history and social studies – understanding the evolution of man through the arts and seeing the visual recording of history.
All of the experiences provide a bigger picture of the world, stimulate thinking and inspire young minds. ARTS Summer Camp is packed with artistic content taught by some amazing instructors.
