Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church Picnic a Success

Sts. Cyril & Methodius Picnic was on Sunday, Sept. 22. The church appreciates all the outside help needed to make it happen, and all who came to enjoy the food, music, auction, magic show, water slide, and all the games.

A total of 1,525 plates were served of the famous country fried chicken breaded there.

Patrons had a choice of drive-through, window pick up plates, or self-serve line inside the hall.

Indoor bingo was held from noon - 4 p.m. Al Bauer was the caller.

Bennie Okruhlik, formerly of Flatonia, brought his band, The Texas Sound Checks who played from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Joe and Ronnie Orsak auctioned off 300 plus items from noon - 5 p.m.
