Stray Gathering Cowboy Church Makes Muldoon Permanent Home

The Stray Gathering Cowboy Church (SG2C) has come to Muldoon and will be meeting in the Muldoon Community Center just behind the Muldoon Community Park. This inspired church has been working hard as they have been growing and God answered their prayers to provide a larger and more permanent place to gather. SG2C workers have fixed up and spruced up the building and it is looking great.

Everyone, not just cowboys, are invited to attend the first meeting at the new location of the SG2C on Palm Sunday, April 2. Fellowship of coffee and doughnuts begins at 9:30 a.m. with the praise and worship service to follow at 10 a.m.

SG2G is lead by Pastor Butch Murphy. He and a number of others have been very busy in preparation for this grand move to Muldoon. They not only offer services to the adults, but they are working hard at building a strong youth program. So if you are looking for a family oriented church family come and check this wonderful group of hard working cowboys, who are seeking to spread the Word of God. More details to come.

Community Center Gathering On Saturday night, a nice little group gathered at the Muldoon Community Center for a pot luck meal. Everyone got a chance to visit and meet the new ministry team, Pastor Butch Murphy and his wife Addie, that will be taking over the church services at the Community Center.

Loads of food was served and no one went home hungry. Plans are pending on next month’s meal, which normally has been on the second Saturday. Next month the second Saturday is the night before Easter, so stay tuned for more information.

Out and About

Nancie and Billie Blair had a mini family reunion at Luther Hill. Nancie’s brother and his wife, Art and Linda Lang arrived from Indiana along with brother Jerry Lang and his wife Karla of Palestine; sister and husband Lu and Fred Ginapp, who brought Nancie’s mom, Elaine Lang, from the Fort Worth area. Joining in on the fun were Nancie’s daughters Heather Tillerson and Teresa Holland, and great granddaughter Cadence Schick. It was a great time with loads of visiting and just enjoying all the beautiful bluebonnets that were out.

Devon Boehnke, Dana and Darrell Kulak hosted family this past weekend with April Pospisil, Annie, Cody and son Luke Zimmerhanzel, along with Jenny and Aaron Zuhn and daughter Charlotte. The family had a blast enjoying country fun and a trip over to the Shiner Brewery.

Wildflowers

The wildflowers are out and are beautiful this year. Take the time to drive out in the area and check out the gorgeous display of color. This spring is looking good with green grass and loads of not only bluebonnets, but all kinds of wildflowers.
