The Stanzel Family Foundation Hosts Third Annual Scholar Social

The Stanzel Family Foundation held its third annual Scholar Social on July 11, welcoming 18 new Stanzel Scholars.

The event took place at the Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum in Schulenburg. Scholars received inspiring words from the Foundation’s board president, were awarded personalized engraved pens, and toured the museum to learn about the foundation’s history and the spirit of the Stanzel Scholarship. The social also provided an opportunity for networking with Foundation staff, directors, and fellow Stanzel Scholar alumni.

Since 1991, the Joseph and Victor Stanzel Memorial Scholarship has been awarded to over 510 high school students from the Schulenburg and Weimar areas, supporting their academic endeavors and fostering a community of excellence.

The Foundation was established in 1989, by Joseph and Victor Stanzel, co-founders and owners of Victor Stanzel Co., a model aircraft toy manufacturing company located in Schulenburg.
