St. Rose No. 1597 Circle of Love Project

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Rose No. 1597 Circle of Love project for the month of September was collecting new and/or gently used board books for the Parents as Teachers Rural South Central Texas program. The CDA and the parishioners of St. Rose Catholic Church donated 82 books towards this literacy project. The books were presented to the PAT organization on Friday, Oct. 6. Pictured are some of the families and the educators with the new books. Families of the PAT program receives a book at each family visit, plus the program provides families with a lending bag of five books each month, encouraging families to read with their children. These books will help the program with this project.
