St. Rose of Lima Students Participate in State Meet

Approximately 1,600 students from across Texas participated in the 2023 Private Schools Interscholastic Association Academic State Meet held on May 6, at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. These students qualified to participate in the PSIA State Meets by placing either first or second individually in one or more contests at 17 area tournaments across Texas this spring.

Ten students from St. Rose competed. Winners were as follows: Art Memory 6,7,8-Allen Ballard, 2nd place Creative Writing 1Emileigh Divin, 1st place Creative Writing 2-Abigale McBride, 1st place Number Sense 5-Abraham McBride, 10th place Number Sense 8-Denim Sommer, 9th place
