St. Paul-Serbin Hosting Kindergarten Round-Up

St. Paul Serbin is having a Kindergarten Round-Up on Thursday, March 6 from 8-11 a.m. This is an opportunity to tour the school and discuss all they offer for children. Contact the school for more information at (979) 366-9650.

Knox Memorial Scholarship Applications are now being accepted for an academicbased scholarship from the Amanda (Zoch) Knox Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund will pay for the full tuition for an incoming 9th grade student of Faith Lutheran High School beginning in the Fall of 2025. Applications are due May 1, 2025 and are available from FLHS or from Cyndy Zoch at cyndy.zoch@gmail.com.

Wednesday Night Bible Study The Wednesday Night Bible Study at Holy Cross in Warda is studying 2nd Kings. New members are always welcome. If you are interested in participating, please contact Cyndy Zoch to receive a study guide. Her contact email is: cyndy.zoch@gmail.com.

Sewing Circle 

The Sewing Circle meets each Thursday from 9 a.m.noon in the old parish hall at Holy Cross in Warda. (this is around the back side of the church). No experience is necessary and you do not have to be a church member to join this fun group. Contact the church office at (979) 2423333 if you have any questions.

Aluminum Cans Collection Aluminum cans are collected at the Holy Cross picnic grounds in a large wire basket. Proceeds benefit the local Trail Life Group and are greatly appreciated.

Sympathy to Larry and Jennifer Teinert on the death of her Aunt Lois Wunderlich on Feb. 14.

Holy Cross Services 

Services at Holy Cross Lutheran are Sunday at 9 a.m. Bible Class and Sunday school follows the morning service.

The Wednesday Morning Bible Study Group meets at 11:30 a.m. They are beginning a study on Galatians.

Transfiguration Sunday is March 2. Ash Wednesday Service will be March 5 at 7 p.m. Midweek Lenten Services will be on Wednesdays from March 12-April 9.

All ladies are invited to join Bunco on Tuesday March 4 at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Game Day at Holy Cross The next Game Day at Holy Cross in Warda will be held Thursday, March 20 from noon-2 p.m. A light lunch is served, there is no cost to attend and everyone is welcome. Games of bingo and dominoes are offered.
