St. John Hosting SLM Wednesday Service

The next Wednesday service (Feb. 28) will be in Rutersville at St. John beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a soup supper. Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Lenten offerings will be designated for the AMEN food pantry. The topic for this service is titled God’s Will and My Dreams. All are welcome.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services.

The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Recycling 

The Fayette County Recycle trailer will be at the Ellinger Chamber grounds on Wednesday, Feb. 28. Bring your sorted recyclables between 1-4 p.m.

LGISD 

The school will be out for spring break the week of March 10.

Daylight Savings Time Daylight Savings Time will be on March 10, remember to turn your clocks 1 hour ahead when you go to bed on Saturday.

Hermann Sons 

There will be a volunteer workday at the camp in Comfort. Any and all are welcome on April 13 to get the camps ready for the summer. Lunch will be served. Contact Ian at (830) 995-3223 for more information or to let him know you will help.
