Spring Shred Day a Success

The ‘Shred Day’ held in conjunction with the City of La Grange’s Spring Clean Up on Saturday, April 22, was a huge success for our citizens and the environment.

The weather was beautiful and the environment was festive. The La Grange Police Department and volunteers from Citizens on Patrol facilitated the shredding of over 9,000 pounds of paper and, in the process, saved 37 trees. They also collected 250 pounds of nonperishable food and $245 cash for the AMEN Food pantry.
