Snowden Family Artifacts to be on Display In LG as Part of Hebert’s Talk on New Books
Local author and historian Charles Hebert is pleased to announce the publication and release of the fifth and sixth of his growing collection of literary works.
The two-volume epic, totally factual and completely documented, begins with the founding of the City of Memphis, Tennessee, transcends four generations, and finally reaches its natural end in Houston, Texas. It is a saga of unfathomable wealth and how the families lived with it in a charade of normalcy.
The work entitled “Snowden” engages the reader to explore a life all of us dream of but few can actually live.
An introduction to the books and the once in a lifetime opportunity to see some of the properties from the mansions, including historical documents and artifacts will be held Saturday, June 3 at 10 a.m. until noon at the Randolph Recreation Center Building D, 659 Pearl St. in La Grange.
