SLM Ladies Tea Social June 22

The Ladies Tea will be Saturday, June 22 from 10 a.m.-noon at St. John in Rutersville. This will be a tea party and brunch for ladies of every age. Ladies can host a table for a $20 donation and asked to bring a brunch item or dessert. A variety of tea and lemonades will be provided. This event is open to friends and family and Sunday dress and hats are encouraged. For more information, call Maegan Blaschke at (830) 708-7430.

SLM Day Camp 

SLM Day Camp will be partnered with Lutherhill and will be July 22-26. Each church in the SLM is asked to provide a $50 donation for the Lutherhill staff to have lunch in La Grange, provide breakfast for campers and staff (about 30 people) between 7:30-8:15 a.m. and be a “Camp Grandparent” that will stay and connect and craft with campers either from 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 7:30-8:45 a.m. If you would like to contribute in other ways or have questions, contact Kristina Buro at (713) 829-6445. Registration istration forms are available online or at each church.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Hermann Sons 

The Ellinger Sons of Hermann lodge will be meeting on Monday, June 17 at 6 p.m. at the fire station.

City of Ellinger 

The City will meet on Thursday, June 27 at the Chamber dining hall.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Ellinger C of C 

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will have Christmas in July Bingo at the chamber on Saturday, July 13.
