Shelter Takes in 40 Animals Last Week

As of March 15, total intake for the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter is 289: 171 dogs and 118 cats in need. As of March 15, the shelter has 98 animals in care: 60 dogs/38 cats. This number includes animals in the facility, in foster care for medical, waiting on available space, or awaiting transport to rescue partner.

The animal shelter continued to offer a discount voucher program to the citizens of Fayette County for the spay/ neuter of family pets. Call (979) 966-0021 for more information.
