St. John in Ellinger will install council members during the 8 a.m. worship time on Sunday, March 5.
Ellinger will be parking cars in Warrenton on March 20-21. Also, Ellinger will sell baked goods at the Warrenton food booth on March 23-24. Donated baked goods are appreciated. Please only nonperishable, bagged and labeled items. Donated items will be picked up early in the morning of March 23 from St. John-Ellinger. To sign up to volunteer or for more information, please contact a church member.
Sunday School will be at St. John in Rutersville on Sunday, March 5 at 3 p.m. The theme will be Veggie Tales Rack, Shack and Benny: Handling Peer Pressure based on Thessalonians 2:15. The lesson will include the bible story, cooking, games, crafts, science, and music.
Ellinger will host the Lenten service on Wednesday, March 8 with Pastor Alan Kethan at 7 p.m. Soup will be served at 6 p.m.
No confirmation classes will be held during Lent or the Holy Week. Classes will resume on April 19 in Rutersville. The lessons will focus on the New Testament.
Save the date: SLM Joint worship will be in Ellinger on April 16 at 10 a.m.
Brethren Church
Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Face book page.
Industry Brethren Church will have a Bible Study on Tuesday, March 7 at 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. The study lasts about one hour and is led by Rev. Michael Groseclose. All are welcome.
Fayetteville Brethren Church will have a Lenten service on Wednesday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m. A sandwich supper will follow the service. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The 32nd annual feast will be held on Sunday, April 30. More details to follow.
