Senior Connections Hears from Judge Mueller, Celebrates March Birthdays

Senior Connections welcomed new Fayette County Judge Dan Mueller to the center on Monday, March 13. Precinct 4 County Commissioner Drew Brossmann was also present as he came in to introduce the Judge to Senior Connections. Schulenburg Mayor Elaine Kocian was also present The center also had three board members present to demonstrate their support for the elected officials as well as for Senior Connections. David Brooks came in from Houston, Jennifer Moring came in from Weimar, and Clarence Ahlschlager came in from Schulenburg and he was accompanied by his wife Carelie.

The center appreciates Judge Dan Mueller for taking some of his time to spend getting to know members at Senior Connections.

On Wednesday, not only did members enjoy the fun and camaraderie of bingo, they also celebrated March birthdays of the month with lead volunteers Julie Clements and member Angie Pekar. The center is on the lookout for April Birthdays, so come on in and give us a reason to celebrate.

Senior Connections is ready to set up a outing to College Station to the George H. Bush Presidential Museum in April, so it is real exciting to have something to look forward to. Stay tuned to www. srconnections.org.

Senior Connections is currently open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, with a lunch meal served each day, at the Center in Wolters Park in Schulenburg. We meet at ARTS-Schulenburg on Friday, from 10 a.m. to noon.
