Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels Meets Wednesdays
Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels with Combined Community Action meet every Wednesday at Martin Luther Lutheran Church Mission and Ministry Building located at 250 Augsburg Ave. in Carmine.
Come early to play dominoes and enjoy the camaraderie. Hours are 9-11:30 a.m.
The food usually arrives about 10 a.m. and must be picked up by 11:30 a.m. There are five meals in a box along with milk, dessert, and bread. The cost is a donation of $10, which makes it $2 per meal. It is for seniors age 60 and up.

Small School, Big Hearts Small School, Big Hearts Celebration fundraiser, sponsored by the Round Top-Carmine Education Foundation will be held this Saturday, Feb. 3 at the Round Top Rifle Association Hall.
A chicken and sausage dinner will be served from 5-6 p.m. Tickets are $15. (Check to see if any are still available.) This will be followed by a live auction and family dance party. There will also be a silent auction.
Tickets are available at local banks, school offices, Round Top Mercantile, or from www.rtceducationfoundation. org.
Check to see if tables are still available for $250, $500, $750, and $1,000 levels.
RT-C School News
Girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams play at North Zulch on Jan. 26 at 5 p.m. The teams host Dime Box on Jan. 30 also at 5 p.m.
Jr. High girls’ and boys’ teams play at McDade on Jan. 25 at 5 p.m.
Drawing Winners
The winners have been announced by the Carmine Hall for the January gun and gift card drawing.
H. Pauler’s and C. Schmidt’s names were drawn for the guns and D. Grabsky received the gift card.

Souper Bowl of Caring
The Lutheran Youth Organization of MLLC will collect for the “Souper Bowl of Caring Think Beyond the Bowl” fundraiser on Feb. 10 and 11. The proceeds will be given to the A.M.E.N. Food Pantry in La Grange.
Offerings may be placed in large soup pots at the back of the sanctuary. Checks or cash are gladly accepted. If you write a check, make it payable to MLLC LYO, memo line-Souper Bowl. If you cannot attend on those dates, checks may be mailed to the church. Donations may also be brought during the week to the church office.
Fried Chicken Fundraiser
The Carmine Hall is spon-soring a fried chicken fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 18 with carry out only from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Desserts will be available for a donation supporting the scholarship fund.

MLLC News
Confirmation class is Wednesday from 4:15-6:45 p.m. Saturday worship with Holy Communion, observing the Fifth Sunday after Epiphany, is at 6 p.m. The Rev. David Tinker is the pastor.
Recycling Trailer
The recycling trailer is no longer in Ledbetter. Please do not leave anything there. Those residents are asked to go to Carmine, Warrenton, or La Grange.
It is in Carmine on Thursdays, hours are 1-4 p.m. at the Carmine Hall.
The hours in Warrenton are 8-11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and also 8 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturdays. That location is at 600 Huenefeld Ln., Round Top.
Visitors’ Center
The Carmine Chamber of Commerce Visitors’ Center at the restored Train Depot is open on the second Friday and Saturday of the month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
