A Senior Citizen Gaming Party will be Sunday, May 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. Enjoy fellowship and win prizes! All are welcome.

Local Events 

School’s out for summer. Kick-off the best time of the year with the “Hello Summer” concert at Stone Cellar this weekend. This concert is doubling as a fundraiser for Denverado, who is recouping from a structure fire a few weeks back. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The night will include Western Jelly, The Dryes, Sam Platts & the Plainsmen, and Denverado’s Disco. Tickets on sale now at thestonecellartx.com.

On Sunday, May 26 it’s the “Mark Allen Atwood Social Security Birthday Party & Musical Extravaganza Happy Fun Time Song Show” at the Stone Cellar from 7-11 p.m. Tickets are available online.

Fire Department Fundraiser 

The 2024 Round Top-Warrenton Volunteer Fire Department fundraiser is June 13. Support the VFD through raffle sales and free will donations. The raffle drawing will be held on June 13. Tickets are available at Round Top State Bank, Round Top Real Estate, Round Top Service Station, Round Top Farm & Ranch, Round Top Mercantile, Fayetteville Propane, Carmine State Bank, La Grange Electric Motor Service, or any Fire Department member. Donations can be dropped off at Round Top State Bank, or mailed to the Round Top-Warrenton VFD at P.O. Box 194, Round Top, Texas 78954.

Texas A&M Safety Day 

Texas A&M University Safety Day will be Thursday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be first aid training, CPR/AED, mental health awareness, and active shooter training. Lunch will be served.

Round Top Town Council 

Town Council meets the second Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Town Hall unless otherwise posted. Citizens are encouraged and welcome to attend! Agendas are posted on townofroundtoptexas.org under “Board Docs” at least seventy-two hours prior to the meeting time. Historical Society 

The Round Top Area Historical Society museum has free admission every second Saturday of the month from 1-4 p.m. You can view three historical homes as well as a historical church. Private tours are always welcome as well. For more information call (979) 249-5058.

Church News 

St. Martin Catholic Church located at 3490 St Hwy 237 near Warrenton will hold this month’s Mass on Tuesday, June 4 at 8 a.m. for the intentions left on the altar.
