Screenwriting Workshop for High School Students April 27

Attention high school students: you are invited to a screenwriting workshop hosted by Hollywood producers and screenwriters Skylar Schanen and Giovanni M. Porter. Round Top-Carmine ISD Students are out for Good Friday, April 18, and Easter Monday,April 21. Progress reports will be posted in Parent-Portal April 30. The kids will also have out Monday, May 12. The last day of school is Thursday, May 22.

Round Top Family Library 

An acoustic jam session led by Louie Sellers will be Saturday, April 19. Slow Jam for beginners from 10-11 a.m., and open jam for experienced players 11 a.m.-1:45 p.m.

Junior Master Gardner Kids from grades 4-6 is Wednesday afternoons from 4-5:15 p.m. Open Mic Poetry Night for young and adult poets as well as emerging and established writers is Thursday, April 24 at 7 p.m.. A reception will follow, sponsored by the RTFL Book Club.

Round Top Rifle Hall 

Enjoy burgers the first, second, and third Mondays of each month. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the RTRH. St. Martin’s Catholic Church St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Warrenton holds a monthly Mass the first Tuesday of the month at 8 a.m. The next service will be Tuesday, May 6. Bethlehem Lutheran Church Bethlehem Lutheran Church meets for worship Sundays at 9:30 a.m. You can also watch the service on their YouTube channel found at https://tinyurl.com/ yc77f2vj beginning at 9:30 a.m. Good Friday Service is at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at 9 a.m. the outdoor cross will be decorated with flowers. Please bring your own flowers if you would like to help. Easter Sunday Sunrise service will be at 7 a.m. under the Oaks. A light brunch and Easter Egg hunt will follow the Easter service.

St. Paul Lutheran Church St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby services are at 8 a.m. Easter Sunday service will be at 8:30 a.m. on April 20. Following the Easter service there will be brunch. Donations for the breakfast will go to “Water to Thrive: Give Water, Give Life.” Sunday, May 4 will be a joint service with BLC at Round Top for their annual chicken fry.

St. John’s-Warrenton Sunday Worship is at 8:30 a.m. If members would like to help beautify the altar with Easter lilies or other spring flowers, they will need to be dropped off at the church by 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 19.

RT Christian Fellowship Round Top Church meets at 8:45 a.m. for Bible Study, followed by a 10 a.m. service.
