Schulenburg Police Respond to Reported Forged Rx
Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Nov. 12-18.
Assault
On Nov. 18, Officer Byron Powe was advised by caller in the 14 block of N. Kessler that stated a subject was hit by a vehicle in the private parking lot.
On Nov. 18, Officer James Whited responded to the 600 block of Upton for an assault family violence.
Animal Complaint
On Nov. 17, Animal Control officer Gina Harden responded to the 1300 block of Pierce regarding individual surrendering a stray dog.
Civil Matter
On Nov. 13, Powe was dispatched to the 1200 block of James Avenue regarding a civil matter between caller and her daughter over a vehicle.
On Nov. 17, Whited responded to the 900 block of Eilers in reference to child custody.
On Nov. 17, Whited was dispatched to the 600 block of Upton for a civil mater regarding child custody.
On Nov. 17, Powe took a report of a civil issue in the 800 block of Wolf regarding a stolen vehicle. It is a civil issue due to the fact the wife had the vehicle.
Criminal Mischief
On Nov. 18, Powe took a report from caller in the 400 block of Anderson in regard to customers that broke items then left the store without paying. Disturbance
On Nov. 13, Whited was dispatched to the 100 block of Hummingbird for a disturbance.
On Nov. 17, Whited was dispatched to the 500 block of Wolf regarding a juvenile acting up. Parties were separated for the night.
Forgery
On Nov. 17, Powe was dispatched to the 38 block of East Ave. for fraudulent prescriptions.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Nov. 12, Officer Hailee Vincent responded to the 200 block of Ranger for a suspicious person walking behind Blinn.
On Nov. 12, Officer Juan Castilleja was contacted by Chief Brenek about a suspicious person walking in the 1300 block of Summit. Officer made contact with the subject.
On Nov. 15, Vincent received a call from a citizen regarding a suspicious person who picked up a bag in the middle of the road with paper in it.
On Nov. 18, Whited observed three male subjects riding bikes without the required lighting equipment and not following traffic code requirements. The individuals were warned.
Traffic Stop
On Nov. 13, Powe stopped a driver in the 600 block of Summit for expired registration (9-23) Driver received a warning.
On Nov. 14, Powe stopped a driver in the 600 block of James for failure to stop at a stop sign. Driver received a warning and a citation for no driver’s license and no insurance.
On Nov. 14, Powe stopped a driver in the 700 block of N. Kessler for a defective brake light. Driver received a warning.
On Nov. 14, Powe stopped a driver in the 1000 block of James for expired registration (5-23) driver received a warning.
On Nov. 14, Powe stopped a driver in the 600 block of I-10 for driving in left lane and not passing, driver received warning for left lane not passing and no driver’s license.
On Nov. 16, Castilleja stopped a driver in the 100 block of Kessler for driving without headlights when required.
On Nov. 17, Powe stopped a driver for speeding in the 500 block of College for speeding in a school zone. Driver received a warning for speeding in a school zone and stopping in a prohibited area (crosswalk).
On Nov. 17, Powe stopped a driver in the 500 block of Lyons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Driver received a warning for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and driving while license invalid. Driver received a citation for no insurance.
On Nov. 18, Powe stopped a driver in the 600 block of Kessler for expired registration (6-23) Driver received a warning.
On Nov. 18, Powe stopped driver in the 700 block of N. Kessler for operating a unregistered motor vehicle. Driver received a warning.
On Nov.18, Powe stopped a driver in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding 44 in a 35. Driver received a warning.
