RT-C Students Return to School Monday

News

This is the last full week of Christmas vacation for the Round Top-Carmine ISD kiddos. School is back in session Monday, Jan. 8. Report cards will also be going home this day so be on the lookout.

The kids will be out for another holiday the following Monday, Jan. 15 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Round Top C of C

The January Chamber of Commerce Social is Thursday, Jan. 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Busted Oak Cellars. This is free for members and $10 for non-members.

Festival Hill

The Houston Jazz Orchestra will be at Festival Hill on Saturday, Jan. 13 from 3 to 4:45 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for students.

Saturday, Jan. 27, Asleep at the Wheel will be at Festival Hill from 7 to 9 p.m. This is an evening of Texas Swing benefiting Festival Hill. Tickets are available at festivalhill.org.

Round Top Family Library The after-school programs at the library resume this coming week. The first Family Game Day of the year is Saturday, Jan. 13 from 2 to 5 p.m.

The Round Top Family Library’s annual Chili Cook-Off is Sunday, Jan. 14 at The Round Top Rifle Hall. Beginning at noon, enjoy music by the Black Cat Choir, sample and vote on your favorite chili and enjoy the day with our wonderful community. Tickets are $10, children 12 and under are free. Winter Antiques Show

The 2024 Winter Antiques Show is Thursday, Jan. 18 through Sunday, Jan. 21. The winter show is primarily yearround vendors and businesses, but there are several pop-ups along Highway 237.
