Roy Koehl Memorial BBQ Details
Tickets for the Roy Koehl Memorial BBQ are on sale through April 20 for a donation of only $12. Tickets can be purchased from members of 4-H and FFA or at Fayette Savings in La Grange, Fayetteville Bank, Orsak’s and at Pam’s Hair Fashions in Round Top.
The meals, catered by Peter’s BBQ, include BBQ brisket, buttered potatoes, pinto beans and fixings. It’s all served up on Thursday, April 28 from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. in the old fire station in the square.
“The more tickets we sell, the more we can we give away,” stated Cheryl Otto, Koehl’s daughter. “The funds we receive go to scholarships for graduating seniors. We also donate buckles and add-ons for kids for the livestock show.”
