Round Top City-Wide Garage Sale Slated June 27-28

The very first city-wide community garage sale will be June 27 and 28 starting at 8 a.m. each day. Maps will be available online beginning June 20. Visit exploreroundtop. com for details.

Fourth of July 

Start making plans for July 4 in Round Top. The 175 Fourth of July Celebration kicks-off at 10 a.m. The parade will start with the firing of the cannon at 10:30 a.m. Following the parade, the Rifle Hall has barbecue, music and fun for the whole family from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Finish your day with fireworks at The Compound. Gates open at 5 p.m.

Round Top Family Library ThemonthlyFamilyGame Day will be held at the library this Saturday, June 14 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Board games are provided. Bring your family and friends for a day of classic and modern games. Light snacks are provided. An adult must be present with children. RT Area Historical Society Come and tour the museum campus – take a look at three historical homes and a historical church. The RTAHS museum has free admission every second Saturday of the month from 1-4 p.m. For more information, call (979) 249-5058.

Round Top Rifle Hall 

Come out for hamburger night every first, second, and third Monday of the month. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Rifle Hall.

Festival Hill 

Enjoy beautiful music each weekday at Festival Hill, as part of the 2025 Round Top Music Festival. Master Class is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and on a first come, first serve basis. These performances are held weekdays at 1:30 p.m. in the Edythe Bates Old Chapel.

Monday, June 16-Erica Kiesewetter, violin; Tueday, June 17-Young Person’s Concert (this concert only, 11:30 a.m.); Wednesday, June 18-Emilio Colón, cello; Thursday, June 19-Andrew Parker, oboe. Friday, June 20 features the Young Artist Chamber Music Groups at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, June 21 is the Brass Showcase at 1:30 p.m., followed by the All-French Chamber Music Concert at 3:30 p.m., and the Texas Festival Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. in the Festival Concert Hall. Round Top-Carmine ISD 

Strength and conditioning will meet weekdays June 2-July 15 at 8 a.m. for incoming 7-12 graders. Summer skill work for baseball and volleyball 9 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Basketball skill work is at 9 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Track is Mondays and Wednesdays 10-10:30 a.m. These camps are free.

July 16-18 is basketball camp. 1-4 grades will meet 9-10:30 a.m., 5-8 grades will meet 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., and 9-12 grades will meet 1:304:30 p.m. Register by June 27 to receive a camp gift. The cost is $60.

July 29-31 is volleyball camp. 1-4 grades will meet 12 - 1:30 p.m., 5-8 grades will meet 1:30-3:30 p.m., and 9-12 grades will meet 8-11 p.m. Register by July 18 to receive a camp gift. The cost is $60.

The high school gym will be open for incoming 7-12 graders from 5-7 p.m. on select dates. Basketball-June 23 and 14. July 28 will be open for 1 hour only. The gym will be open for Volleyball June 16. July 28 will be open for one hour only.

St. Paul Lutheran Church St. Paul Lutheran Church in Shelby services are at 8 a.m. Fellowship, Coffee, and Sunday School follow at 9:30 a.m. Game Day is held the first Wednesday at 2 p.m. Quilting is held the third Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

St. John’s Lutheran Church St. John’s is part of the Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County. They meet for Sunday Worship at 8:30 a.m.

RT Christian Fellowship Round Top Church meets at 8:45 a.m. for Bible Study, followed by a 10 a.m. service.

St. Cecilia’s Episcopal 

Saint Cecilia’s Episcopal Church in Round Top, meets in Haw Creek Chapel, located in Henkel Square, Sundays at 8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
