Round Top-Carmine Class of 1950 Reunites
The RT-C class of 1950 met at the home of Cordell Levien in Round Top on May 25.
When the group graduated on May 29, 1950, there were eighteen girls and fourteen boys. They had worked very hard to get to this point in their lives, preparing to go out into the world to make the most of what they had learned in their years in school. It has been 74 years since graduation day at Round Top-Carmine High School.
There are still twelve students living in their homes. Two are in Assisted Living. The Class of 1950 has truly been blessed.
Another reunion has been planned for 2025, “if we are still here to enjoy each other’s company” as quoted by Loretta Leonhardt. The date will be announced later.
