Rosary Rally Held in La Grange

Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Daughter of the Americas held a Rosary Rally on Oct. 14 at the Rose Garden Gazebo in downtown La Grange.

The Rosary started at 11:50 a.m. with the sign of the cross and singing Immaculate Mary, at noon began the rosary with Joyful mysteries. After each decade there was a Fatima Prayer and after the fifth decade a prayer to St. Michael the Archangel before the Hail Holy Queen. After the Rosary, the Litany of the blessed Virgin Mary, then a prayer to the Holy Mother of God. Next was the Litany of St. Michael the Archangel followed by a prayer of total consecration. Next, the group recited the Divine Praises, then sang O Sanctissima. They prayed the Angelus next and followed to end the service with Grant Me Perseverance, Lord’s prayer. The service was led by Lillian Kallus and Shirley Antosh, with 21 people in attendance.
