Record Visits Europe

The latest expedition for the Fayette County Record was to the Imperial Cities of Europe with local resident Nora Butler. She celebrated her September birthday with a party in fabulous Vienna, Austria as well as in this iconic town square setting in Bratislava, Slovakia. They also visited Budapest, Prague, and Munich, accompanied by Ted Clee of Chappell Hill, Texas, and several other of Nora’s longtime friends. A highlight of the trip was the famous Passion Play in the Bavarian town of Oberammergau. The play has been presented by the townspeople every ten years since the town was delivered from the plague in 1633.
