    Record Goes to Louisville

Teens and adult volunteers from the Hostyn and Plum churches were in Louisville last week participating in the Catholic Heart Work Camp, where they fixed up houses for those in need in the city. Bishop Brendan Cahill happened to be in Louisville at the same time for a conference and visited the students at the school they were staying at. He’s shown above holding The Fayette County Record. Below and left, the locals and The Record also visited the Louisville Slugger baseball bat factory during their trip. Attendees at the work camp included students Aiden Bowman, Marissa Muras, Aubri Bernsen, Kynzee Swafford, Jena Jobb, Haylie Cooper, Ella Janacek, Brooke Redding, Paige Michalke, Haedyn Cooper, Quade Brothers, Reisy Janca, Dalton Janacek and Deacon Wick and adults Miguel Rios, Roxann Redding, Jessica Janacek, Lisa and Rodney Muras and Jeff Wick.
