Record Crowned Top Semi-Weekly By Texas Gulf Coast Press Assoc.

The Fayette County Record was crowned the top semi-weekly newspaper with the Sweepstakes award at the conclusion of the 85th annual Texas Gulf Coast Press Association Convention awards ceremony Saturday at Port Royal in Port Aransas.

Judging was done by the Texas Center for Community Journalism and was for work done during the 2022 calendar year. The Record competed in Division III, the largest circulation division, against other twice-weekly newspapers.
