Quilt Show Opens Friday in La Grange

Kathi Babcock and Kathy Theut hang up a pair of quilts in the La Grange KC Hall in preparation for the Best Little Quilt Show, which takes place this weekend. Judging takes place Thursday, Feb. 22. The Quilt Show will be open to the public Friday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The theme of this year’s show is “Springtime in Texas.” Exhibitors entered 124 quilts into the show. The show will include vendors, and “I Spy” game for kids, and a display of Singer Featherweight sewing machines and antique ironing boards.
