Quilt Guild Gets Personal With Show and Tell Event at Recent Meeting

CVQG put on their very own “best little trunk show.” Guild members brought in their favorite quilts for a small show and tell. The Hall was filled with beautiful quilts and cherished memories.

The CVQG had accepted a challenge of “How many adult shirt protectors can you make?” As of June 27, over 400 adult shirt protectors have been made. The Guild distributed 130 to the Columbus/Weimar area and 147 have been distributed in the Schulenburg area. The members brought in over 153 more to our guild meeting this Tuesday night. The Colorado Valley Quilt Guild meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at the Randolph Recreation Center, 653 East Pearl Street, Room A East, La Grange, TX 78945. Guild meetings begin at 6 p.m. on even months and 10 a.m. on odd months.
