Police Chief Troy Brenek Reports on Activity
Police Report
Schulenburg Police Chief Troy Brenek reports on the following incidents his department responded to during the week of Dec. 3-9.
Criminal Trespass
On Dec. 6, Officer MD Krenek spoke with an individual about issuing a criminal trespass warning.
Disturbance
On Dec. 4, Officer Juan Castilleja responded to the 600 block of Upton for a possible disturbance.
Prowler
On Dec. 6, Officer James Whited was advised of a prowler in the 500 block of Baumgarten.
Suspicious Person/Vehicle On Dec. 3, Whited responded to the 500 block of Wolf Street for three subjects riding bikes in the area attempting to open a door of a
vehicle.
On Dec. 6, Whited was dispatched to the 300 block of Medical Parkway for a vehicle and two males at the back of the home that was under construction. Officer contacted the two male sheetrock workers, and they were packing up for the day.
On Dec. 7, Whited was dispatched to the 25 block of N. Kessler for a white male in a dark hoodie swinging a hammer around and yelling in the parking lot. Officer located subject who advised he was walking to California, and he denied ever swinging a hammer. Deputy Mark Pritchard offered the man a ride to Waelder and the individual accepted.
Traffic Stop
On Dec. 4, Officer Hailee Vincent stopped a driver in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding in a school zone going 35 in a 25. Citation issued and a warning issued for failure to report address change.
On Dec. 4, Vincent stopped a driver in the 100 block of Kessler for disregarding a red light. Citation issued.
On Dec. 6, Whited stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of Kessler for trailer lights not working and driver was given a written warning.
On Dec. 6, Powe stopped a driver in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding in a school zone going 37 in a 25. Driver received a citation.
On Dec. 7, Officer Byron Powe stopped a driver in the 1000 block of Kessler for speeding in a school zone going 30 in a 25. Driver received a warning for speeding and a citation for no insurance.
On Dec. 7, Powe stopped a driver in the 100 block of Kessler for speeding in a school zone going 34 in a 25. Driver received a citation.
On Dec. 7, Powe stopped a driver in the 700 block of N. Kessler for a expired registration (5-23) Driver received a warning for expired registration and a citation for no insurance. Warrant Arrest
On Dec. 7, Powe arrested a subject for an outstanding warrant in the 200 block of Kessler.
Miscellaneous
Officer Juan Castilleja Responded to the 700 block of N. Kessler for an individual who was possibly exposing himself to someone at the gas pumps.
