Play Bingo Saturday in Ellinger

Bingo will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the chamber hall (104 W. Colorado Sky) with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. Games will begin at 6 p.m. Food and drinks will be served that evening. There will be a Halloween costume contest with $1,500 in prizes. The categories will be: Individual, Couple, Group (4+ people) and Youth.

Chicken Noodle Soup

On Sunday, Oct. 29 there will be a chicken noodle soup lunch and bake sale. Donated baked items are welcome. The drive through will start at 10:30 a.m. as dine in or walk up will not be available. Soup will be sold for $10 a quart or $35 a gallon. Please bring your own pot or glass container. Homemade chicken salad sandwiches and desserts will be sold. Music entertainment will be provided by Zach Novak. A huge “Thank You” to E & P Refuge in Columbus for sponsoring this event.

Fayette County 4-H

The 4-H clubs are selling poinsettias. Contact any member of the 4-H to order a red, white or pink poinsettias (6 inch) which are $12 each. The delivery is tentatively set for Nov. 30. This is a county fundraiser as well as for the child’s club.

Shared Lutheran Ministry Joint worship for SLM will be held on All Saints Day, Nov. 5 in Fayetteville at St. Paul’s. A light breakfast will be held at 9 a.m. with worship at 9:30 a.m.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

Brethren Church

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m.
