Play Bingo in Ellinger Saturday

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce will host Bingo on Saturday, June 18, at the Ellinger Community Center. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and games will begin at 6 p.m. There will be two $500 jackpot games along with fifteen regular games with $100 payouts each. Refreshments will be available along with hot dogs, nachos, hamburgers, and desserts.

The Ellinger Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a “Christmas in July Bunco Night.” It is scheduled for Friday, July 15, at the Ellinger Community Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. There is a social hour and meal from 6 to 7 p.m. Bunco school is at 6:45 p.m. and the games begin at 7:15 p.m. The cost is $40 per individual or $140 for a table of four. Tickets include Bunco play, a festive holiday meal, dessert, one drink ticket, and a door prize entry. There will be over $500 in prizes awarded. There will be limited spaces available and advanced tickets are required. The deadline to register is Monday, July 11. Make your reservations soon.

Ellinger Hermann Sons

The Ellinger Hermann Sons Lodge will meet on Monday, June 20, at 6 p.m. at the Ellinger Fire Station. For more information you may contact Elaine Koehl at (979) 249-3833.

Fayetteville Brethern Church

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m.

Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Shared Luthern Ministry

The Shared Lutheran Ministry of Fayette County has been working on the Worship calendar and has scheduled the following joint worships: Pentecost-June 5 in Rutersville at 10 a.m.; Fall Blessing-Sept. 18 in Ellinger at 10 a.m.; All Saints Day-Nov. 6-in Fayetteville at 10 a.m.; Christmas Day-Dec. 25 in Warrenton at 9 a.m.; and Lessons and Carols-Jan. 1, 2023, in Rutersville at 10 a.m.

The Breakfast Church schedule for the Shared Lutheran ministry was also posted: June 19-Ellinger and Rutersville; and July 24-Warrenton and Fayetteville.
