PAT Family of the Year Award was presented to Bryan and Esparranza Velazquez.
On Thursday, June 6, Parents as Teachers of Rural South-Central Texas held their 2024 Future Stars: Dreams Take Flight Graduation and Awards Ceremony at Schulenburg Elementary School cafetorium.
The ceremony kicked off with a spirited parade of graduates, followed by recognition, special song performances, and the presentation of PAT family awards. Attendees were treated to a delicious meal, dessert, and engaging arts and crafts activities, highlighted by a special Teddy Bear Clinic courtesy of Tejas Healthcare Clinic.
The Ginger Bosl Award, recognizing outstanding dedication to the program, was presented to Amy Elstner for her unwavering support throughout the year. The PAT Family of the Year Award, honoring exceptional participation throughout the year, was presented to Bryan and Esparranza Velazquez.
PAT extends a heartfelt thank you to Tejas Healthcare doctors Dr. Bruette, Dr. Hudson, and Dr. Cagle, whose presence and generous contribution of goodie bags made the event even more special.
The ceremony created lasting memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
