Pancake Supper Tuesday

Fat Tuesday pancake supper will be held at St. Paul in Fayetteville starting at 5:30 p.m. on March 4. All you can pancakes, sausage and beverages will be served. This free will offering will benefit the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department.

There will be ashes to go on Wednesday, March 5 in Fayetteville at St. Paul from 7-8 a.m. Stop by to receive ashes, pray and mark the beginning of Lent. There will also be a service that evening at 6 p.m. at St. John in Rutersville.

Sunday School will be held at St. John Rutersville on Sunday, March 2 from 3-5 p.m.

Pastor Jen is still collecting applications at pastorjen@sharedlutheranministry.org for a part time Ministry Coordinator position. This person should have excellent organizational skills.

Save the date for summer Vacation Bible School. This year it will be held the week of June 22. More details to come.

Worship services are still offered on Facebook, You Tube and KTIM 89.1 on Sundays at noon. Ellinger has worship every Sunday at 8 a.m. with communion.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church St. Mary’s Catholic Church mass is every Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m.

Brethren Church 

Fayetteville Brethren Church has services the second, third, and fourth Saturdays of each month at 10 a.m. Other services are at Industry Brethren on the second, third and fourth Saturdays at 5 p.m., Wesley Brethren on Sundays at 9 a.m. and Nelsonville Brethren on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Rev. Mike Groseclose leads all the services. The Nelsonville service is live streamed on Nelsonville Brethren’s Facebook page.

Ellinger Chamber 

The ECC will meet at 7 p.m. in the dining hall on March 11. All chamber and community members are invited. Hermann Sons

There will be a volunteer workday at the Hilltop camp in Comfort on March 15, 2025 from 9-5 p.m. Breakfast will be provided at 8:159 a.m. and lunch will also be provided. All extra hands are appreciated to get camp ready for the summer and all skill levels are needed. Furniture needs to be moved, windows cleaned, yard work, painting, etc are some items that need to be done.
